CSA Awards of the Year 2021
As we near the end of year, an incredibly busy year for our teams in terms of growth and innovation, we wanted to take a moment to recognise all of the incredible people and cyber experts we have at CSA with the 2021 edition of our annual CSA Awards of the Year. Keep reading to find out our winners.
Cyber Innovation Award
This award recognises the contribution made by individuals in the development or enhancement of our cyber services. In a competitive industry market, companies need an edge to deliver services that offer flexibility as well as security - something which is now paramount. This award is all about having innovation, bright ideas and the commitment to push through when new things don’t always go to plan.
At CSA, we have several outstanding individuals working to deliver, not only our operational services but to develop and enhance our cyber services, too. So, without further ado…
In third place is Daniel Vizor!
Daniel Vizor has single-handedly enhanced our threat intelligence monitoring service, Foresight, by completely refreshing the service and adding several excellent enhancements. The service is used throughout our customer base and is set for a major sales push in 2022. Well done, Daniel!
In second place is Callum Mitchell!
Callum has led the development of our new Microsoft 365 assessment service. Turning what started as a bright idea into a tangible service, required many hours of testing, tweaks, blood, sweat and tears. The result? An automated service that adds significant value to the services we offer to our clients. Good job, Callum!
And, the winner of the Cyber Innovation Award goes to Matt Yinusa!
Matt has been working incredibly hard since he joined the CSA team earlier this year. But, what has he been working on to earn him the top spot for the Cyber Innovation Award? An all-in-one cyber dashboard that provides a single view of all our services accessible by our clients, that’s what. It is a capability that no one has attempted to develop before and requires so many moving parts to come together. However, with lots of trial and error, we are pleased to see the dashboard complete and will underpin our success as we move into the new year. Congratulations, Matt!
Contribution to Growth Award
This award is for those individuals that have made staggering contributions to CSA’s growth over the past 12 months. The award recognises not just the closing of sales opportunities but how we interact with potential clients, existing clients and each of our partners, too, including the FluidOne family. Now, time for our winners…
In second place is Phil Cordey!
Phil came on board as our Head of Consultancy in March and has made quite a positive impact. Phil not only took on the task of conducting all our cyber assessments, but he brought along his list of contacts and managed to bring them onto our client roster. Phil continues to act as one of our Trusted Advisors, interacting with our clients in a professional capacity. His calming and trusted manner helps us provide as many of our expert cyber services as possible whilst ensuring our clients are happy with the services we provide.
And, the winner of the Contribution to Growth Award is Ryan Hembery!
Ryan has undoubtedly grown CSA’s whole approach to sales, marketing, customer engagement, service delivery and channel partner management. Bringing in processes and governance while undertaking his main role has been an enormous task. It gives us great pleasure to have Ryan accept this award for all of his hard work. Congratulations, Ryan!
Cyber Professional of the Year Award
The Cyber Professional of the Year Award recognises the all-around contributions made to CSA throughout 2021. The award looks at our lines of delivery from leadership, operations, management, personal development and sales support to CSA’s growth and future. In such a busy year, several deserving candidates were considered for this prestigious award; however, one individual has stood out, which myself and Jamie fully believe deserves this award…
And, the Cyber Professional of the Year Award goes to Luke Osbourne!
This past year Luke, our SOC Manager, took on an enhanced leadership role with the tireless task of interacting upwards into the CSA management team and providing support to the operations team. He has achieved so much whilst undertaking a leadership training course through FluidOne whilst standing in on shift when required. His professional knowledge is outstanding, and his work ethic is impeccable. A big congratulations from the CSA team to Luke!
